When sending your motorbike tank to Specialist Dents please use the following guide lines:
Find a sturdy box that will fit your tank leaving a minimum of 4 inch or 100mm all the way around your tank.
Then isolate your tank in the middle of the box using the following. Bubble wrap, polystyrene bits. Anything that will keep the tank in the centre of the box without damaging or scratching it.
The idea is to keep the tank isolated in the centre of the box, then if the carrier drops the box, your tank will be safe in the centre.
